Getting To Know Us (2015)
PCAA is celebrating our 22nd year!
PCAA is a unique not for profit organization founded in 1993. We stand strong in doing what we can to put hope in a teen’s heart and help in practical ways to enrich their life.
We focus our assistance on the teens who are on Probation in Orange County. We supply school clothing, school supplies, food, bus pass’s, educational outings, sewing machines, bike helmets etc to help them learn life skills and succeed in life. We assist the two Youth Reporting Centers which are an alternative to incarceration in Juvenile Hall.

We also assist the teens who have signed the “Other Side Pledge” who are proud to be disciplined and not use drugs or alcohol and have committed to that pledge. After one year of keeping this commitment the teens get a certificate and a party.

PCAA is proud to be a part of “both sides” with supporting teens as our goal.
We began when Probation Chief Michael Schumacher was frustrated as funds were not available to assist the Probation teens with school clothes and basic needs, thus PCAA was formed. PCAA has stood in the county as a specialized non profit to assist in this way. In 2011 our ties were severed by our Executive Director being laid off and so we went off on our own. We still support the Probation teens but rely on wonderful people like you to help us fill their requests.

PCAA’s two community projects every year are our Annual Youth Luncheon where the teens are proud to stand by their display tables showing their achievements..its just a great event. The other is our annual “Christmas Adopt A Family” hundreds of family members are given blankets, clothing and gifts, it’s a huge effort and it successful because of Orange County residents.

PCAA has great financial supporters. We want to thank Don Crevier of “Crevier Classic Cars” (Crevier Family Foundation) who has been a strong source of our being able to help teens. The Crean Foundation is also a great friend along with at&t, membership and donations. We have supporters who supply our families with clothing and blankets and practical gifts, our good friends the Angel Booster Club have helped us for 15 years, they are amazing. Santa Ana Kiwanis, Laguna Rotary and other organizations are greatly appreciated.

Every donation, large or small keeps us being able to help a teen. Often we are their only resource. Our overhead Is low and we are diligent to meet every youth request.
You can make a donation on this website, just got to the donation link, we appreciate it so very much!

THANK YOU!
